Credentials & Experience

OK. Honestly, I’m not impressed by a bunch of letters behind a name, certificates hanging on the wall and all that. I’ve acquired my share of them and most of them are neatly stashed under my couch in case someone really feels a need to see them. Some of them, I’ve flat out lost over the years. But, I understand that it is important to separate those that are truly qualified from those that pretend or impersonate. There really are a lot of imposters and “posers” out there. So, with that in mind, this is where you can find my professional resume.
Before you get there, however, I want to emphasize that it is more important for you to listen with your mind and heart than your eyes and ears. Please pay more attention to what you feel than what the letters behind the name are supposed to impress you with. Remember, “just because you have a license to drive, doesn’t mean you know how to drive.”

If you really want to know that, get in touch with me and we’ll get you whatever information you think you need. This is probably way more than you wanted and certainly more than you need. Let’s move to what is important, shall we? The real reasons you found me…

Hi…….you don’t know me but Carol shared this with me. I truly enjoyed ALL the articles, but when I read the one about your parents and their move to Utah, it really touched my heart.
I’ve know your mom and dad for almost 3 years. I hated to see them move, but your mom and I somehow had a connection. In the time I have known her, I have learned so much from her, and have come to love her so very much. I will truly miss them both, and am a better person for knowing them.
It’s truly remarkable how families all come together in time of need. Eldon and Bonnie are truly blessed to have all of you, in your own way and time, as they face the journey to return home to our Heavenly Father. Though none of us have a time frame for that particular journey that we need to remind ourselves that we are ALL on, it is nice and I’m sure comforting to them to have family to share that journey with them now, at this particular time in their lives.
Dysfunctional……..NO…….dysfunctional would mean that you couldn’t ALL come together to do what you needed for your parents. But you did!! Your mom and dad must have done something right. Our own choices may make us seem dysfunctional, but ALL of you were there when Eldon and Bonnie needed you, and you’ll be there for them the next years of their lives…….that to me does not show dysfunction. That shows courage and commitment and strength to serve, as you were ALL taught at some point in your lives to do.
You can be glad for the things Bonnie and Eldon have taught you all, as you’ll pass it on to your kids and them onto theirs. And Bonnie and Eldon can be glad you all in return will be there for them, and they will be thankful for you and your service.
Tell them hello and I love them both!!
