My name is Davee. That’s right; Davee. My “birth name” is David, as you’ve undoubtedly noticed, but I prefer Davee. So we’ll go with that. Since you found your way here, I feel should introduce myself and let you know a couple of things about who I am. We can then find out how I can help you, your family, other loved ones or just people you care something about. I am confident that I have some ideas that will help you find what you are looking for. After all, you are looking for something, or you wouldn’t have found me.

By profession, I suppose the easiest description for me would be that of a psychotherapist. It’s important, I feel, to say that as one word rather than two, by the way… psychotherapist rather than psycho—therapist. (Although I’m willing to allow that there are plenty of the latter!) All that means is that I am someone that has made most of my living working with people in a variety of ways and settings trying to help them experience better lives. I’ve worked with people of all ages and types in many, many different settings with all sorts of “issues” and problems and dilemmas. I feel very fortunate to have learned from some of the wisest and most troubled people you can imagine. I have the incredible opportunity to continue passing that learning and wisdom on to you if you are willing.

Welcome. I believe you will find what you are looking for, if you are willing to look deep enough, work hard enough and stick with it.
I have had the good fortune in my life to have been employed by others and to have been, primarily, self employed. Earlier in my life, I worked at lots of different “jobs” from construction, to truck and cab driving, to retail sales and a host of other positions. It became increasingly clear that there was much more for me to do and that what I was and had been doing was more or less enjoyable but all enormously unfulfilling. Following the suggestions of several people close to me, and not knowing any other more effective path, I went to college. Much to my chagrin, I learned that I wasn’t, in fact, as stupid as I had been led throughout my life to believe and chose to pursue a graduate degree. This provided me the legal sanction to do what I had always enjoyed more than anything else. I could help people and earn a living doing so.

More recently, I have become quite aware of how important it is for me to put my thoughts and learning in writing and into products that are available to help people create the relationships of their dreams.

Again, you found me. It’s your turn. I am so glad we met and that I have this chance to convey to you what has been shared with me. I believe it is of the utmost importance.

So, we have a lot to explore! Let’s get started!

Hi Davee,

I’m so glad to see that you are reaching out to people and sharing your wisdom and knowledge to help them. I have always thought how fortunate I was to find someone so caring and understanding as you are and how I always wanted to share you with everyone. Please know that you have helped me through some amazing things and I want to thank you for that. I believe that anyone who comes in contact with you will come away with more self awarness, self confidence, knowledge and understanding of themselves and life.

Take Care,
Monique
